About this artwork
In my work, I explore the fundamental intersection of ancient archetypes and the raw energy of existence. "Genesis" is a visual manifestation of a core belief: without understanding the origin, it is impossible to forecast the result.
The composition is anchored on the right by the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I used a heavy, tactile application of black and gold acrylic to grant the Tree a sense of ancient authority. To its left, beneath… the gilded branches, lies the Genesis of Humanity. This central vortex of white impasto represents "Kreatio"—the moment life spirals into being. By placing this creation under the shadow of the Tree, I highlight the inseparable link between the act of birth and the burden of knowledge.
