All my works are painted on organic cotton canvas which is hand-stretched by myself on a wooden frame made from locally sourced wood. The canvas is sized with home-made glue and primed using my own primer. I don't use cheap mass-produced canvas stretchers.
The painting is signed on the front (monogram signature) and on the back (full name, date, title, signature).

Malwina Chabocka is a Polish artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in Portugal and the United Kingdom. Her works explore the inner conflict of emotions, hidden desires, repressed feelings, haunting memories, as well as pain and longing. Chabocka is also drawn to the intersection of the rational mind with our most primary instincts, which she believes we unsuccessfully try to curb. Evoking contrasts and tension, she often juxtaposes flat areas of carefully applied color with loose brushstrokes and bold contours.
