About this artwork
This celebration of colour is reminiscent of the beautiful blooms of fire flowers that light up the night sky at the start of the year. It's a fitting farewell to all that has passed whilst also embracing the hope for that which is yet to come. The pure wonderment of fireworks affects us all and with this piece I hope we can put behind us this year of hardship, take encouragement from our resilience and look with awe to what the future holds.
