I painted Unhidden Lamp from a place deep within me — a place that had grown tired of hiding.
At its heart, a single suspended light glows with molten oranges, golds, and soft white. I let it pour its warmth like a waterfall, spilling into a dreamlike world of pinks, teals, indigo, and jade. Each color is a fragment of emotion — moments I’ve carried, memories that shift and blend the way only time can soften them.
The background moves with life,… unpredictable and free, but the lamp remains steady, grounded, and unafraid. In it, I see truth revealed — that fierce, quiet guidance we all carry inside, waiting for us to listen.
When I stand before this piece, I feel the courage to shine without apology. My hope is that you will feel it too — that it will remind you of your own light, unhidden, unwavering, and impossibly beautiful.

I am a self-taught artist shaped by the vastness of the sea and the depths of the inner world. For sixteen years, I lived as a mariner, navigating endless horizons and silent waters, until 2019, when the birth of my daughter became the turning tide. I left the ocean to embark on a new voyage — painting. My work, rooted in abstract expressionism, explores the unseen currents between movement and stillness, solitude and connection. I layer acrylics and oils with brushes, knives, and my hands, guided by instinct, memory, and lived experience rather than formal training. The discipline of the sea remains, but so does its freedom — allowing each piece to evolve without a fixed destination. I do not paint what I see, but what I feel: inner storms, fleeting joys, layered memories. My paintings are not statements, but invitations — for the viewer to step into their own ocean of emotion and imagination.
