About this artwork
This is a very whimsical and playfull piece. The artist painted this piece during the summer time and it has books hidden in the house. The title is "Une Histoire D'Ete" which means a summer story. The artist wanted to capture the short beauty of a summer filled with adventure, love and passion. The pinks, the blues and the yellows are dancing together just like one will do at a summer party.

« The universe gifted me a French edge, a Californian dream and some hot boiling Afghan blood and I channel it through my art. »
Manaz Raiszadeh is an artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Referring to herself as an "intuitionist abstract painter", the genesis of her artistic inspiration comes from her parent's tale and her Afghani cultural background. Raiszadeh often depicts houses and villages in her compositions, as she believes that "we can all relate to the place where we are from". She creates using acrylics, pastels, and collage on canvas or wood.
