About this artwork
The building depicted in this painting is located on a small peninsula in the Hafen City area of Hamburg. The "Lighthouse" could only attract the attention of the artist who, during one of his port inspections, photographed it and then translated it into a painting. The realization is very accurate in full figurative style and the representation of light highlights the sinuous shapes of the building well. The whole stands out against a light blue…
