About this artwork
What happens when everything is created?
The voluptuousness of the colors, of the vegetation, the intense waterfalls of blues and pinks in contrast to the paleness of the elk, invites us to question ourselves about the ´´retirada¨

« I celebrate the complexity and its contradictions, the doubt, and the search, the unfinished part of the work. »
Manuela Gerosa is a Spanish artist whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany. Inspired by post impressionism, surrealism, and symbolism, her paintings explore themes relating to defense, the great unknown, emptiness, the unfinished, transgression, and ambiguousness of feelings. Gerosa relates these themes through the portrayal of animal nature and the environment. Her vivid compositions are created using acrylics, oils, and pencils on canvas or paper.
