About this artwork
In my artwork, I combine acrylic, charcoal, and spray paint to create a vibrant, almost surreal portrait of a panther. This piece is a deep reflection on the strength and mysticism of nature. Expressionistic brushstrokes and semi-abstract elements allow the viewer to experience both the fierce energy and quiet grace of this majestic creature. is one of my favorite paintings. I associate many memories with the black panther. Sometimes it is very specific animals that trigger something in us or with which we associate memories, wishes, and dreams. The black panther, like all subspecies of leopard, is an endangered animal. Their habitat is being increasingly reduced by civilization. Many big cats are threatened with extinction, and there are still people who protect these wonderful, noble animals.

Manuela Rathje is an experienced artist from Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally.
