About this artwork
In my work "Peter the Great" I capture the majestic aura and mysterious expression of a cat boldly emerging from a swirl of vibrant colors and expressive strokes. It is a giclee print that I created in a semi-abstract, expressionistic style. The bright reds and oranges symbolize energy and passion, while the cooler blues and greens convey calm and depth. Manuela Rathje is an experienced artist from Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally.
