About this artwork
London, the capital of England and Great Britain, is a modern city. Its roots go back to the time of the Roman Empire. At the centre are the imposing Houses of Parliament, the legendary clock tower "Big Ben", and Westminster Abbey, the coronation site of the British monarchs. On the other bank of the Thames is the London Eye Ferris wheel, which offers a panoramic view of the South Bank cultural district and the rest of the city. The city is so multifaceted… and offers so many cultural opportunities that are waiting to be discovered.
Let my picture inspire you.
Acrylic paints and permanent marker on canvas and stretcher frame, hand signed, dated and subsequently provided with a final varnish like all my paintings.
Manuela Reitz mainly uses acrylic paints, sometimes in combination with watercolors. She uses experimental techniques, with quick, intuitive gestures and the targeted placement of accents with paint markers and black ink. Inspired by nature and childhood motifs, she creates pictures that can be read like books. Her art aims to generate happiness, to enable an emotional journey that touches the heart and makes you forget space and time.
