The title "Infusion" is programmatic: the expressive mixed-media work balances between abstract landscape and visual metaphor for the inseparable connection of all things. The artwork visualizes the idea that every impulse leaves a trace.
Fine cracks in the turquoise tones create a striking contrast to the solidity of the earthy textures in the lower part of the image.… A gold line acts as a point of contact – an exchange that transforms the system and simultaneously evokes the Far Eastern philosophies of Wabi-Sabi and Kintsugi, which celebrate beauty in imperfection.
