About this artwork
This work, created in vibrant acrylics, is a bold exploration of fluid movements and color interactions. I let myself be guided by instinct, allowing every trace of color to tell a story of freedom and uncontrolled expression. The intertwining of red, blue, yellow and pink is not just a visual dialogue, but an invitation to let yourself be carried away by emotions even without a defined direction. Every observer can find a personal journey into the beating heart of abstract art.
I have always loved painting but my educational and professional paths led me to teach for 42 years. When I became an art teacher I felt legitimized to consider myself a painter and to search for my artistic identity. I began to exhibit in local galleries, then national ones. Receiving positive feedback, I expanded to international contexts such as the Luxembourg Art Prize, or the MEAM in Barcelona and others. I often paint women as protagonists capable of bringing their positivity and courage even in difficult and dramatic contexts. I am attracted by the wonder of nature in all its aspects. My work often combines acrylic color with fabrics through collage. It was the discovery of Mickalene Thomas's works that inspired me to experiment with this path. Fabric can enrich what I imagine. Its textures, its yarns, the different consistencies, the beautiful colors, have transformed and enriched my palette.
