About this artwork
In this work, I explored the density of emotions through the bold use of acrylic, oil, resin and vinyl. My intention was to capture the complexity of human feelings, creating deep textures and vibrant colours that almost seem to emerge from the canvas. The red streaks, entangled in the darkness of the background, symbolise the sparks of passion and resilience that animate our existence. This painting is sure to bring an intense and thoughtful energy…

"Marc BERNARD is a recognized artist who has worked with prestigious houses and collectors around the world.
From a young age, Marc Bernard was immersed in a literary and artistic universe. His father, a painter, designer and ceramist, awakened his interest in art by inviting him to paint in his studio. Marc Bernard continued his studies at the École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués and the Beaux-Arts in Paris. 1995 marked an important turning point in his artistic career with the creation of his own studio in the Cévennes. His works are inspired by an imaginary world that escapes the norms of the real world and its unity is supported by recurring motifs such as the letters X and V, symbols of anonymity and victory. His monochrome sculptures, made with synthetic materials, pigments and resins, and his paintings related to bas-relief invite the viewer to immerse themselves in his indirectional art because it is insurrectional in the first sense."
