About this artwork
In this work, abstraction helps me capture the essence of natural elements. Using oil, I work the paper to create a silent and enveloping atmosphere. I play on shades of gray that let pinks appear in their transparencies and I place different thicknesses of material from which light escapes in fragments. The tree and the cave represent an intimate sanctuary, a bit like these caves of parietal art, inviting the observer to immerse themselves in deep…
