About this artwork
In this work, I explored the richness of textures and materials. I used acrylic, textile, wood, and various organic objects to create an assemblage sculpture that engages with themes of transformation and mystery. Each element is chosen for its uniqueness, intertwining to form a whole that evokes a sense of movement and balance. The goal is to provoke reflection on the harmony between old and new, natural and manufactured. I titled this sculpture…
“Entrelacs.” The main elements are acacia pods that I collected in Ouagadougou. These intertwined pods carry various seeds. The sculpture and its wooden base weigh 1 kilogram.
