Discover the creation in interiors
In this piece I fuse futuristic and geometric approaches with impressionism and surrealism. The use of acrylic and graffiti gives the scene a powerful dynamic. The biggest inspiration for this artwork is Mother Nature herself. The coastline, sea and earth colored mountains were painted using various artist knives and acrylic paint to give a sharp and edgy look. This is inspired by paintings by Remo Lienhard. The clouds and blue volcanoes in the background…
were painted using soft brushes and acrylic paint to make them flow with the wind and disappear into the distance. The volcano is inspired by the eruptions in Iceland in 2010. The space station is actually a geometrically impossible object, hence an optical illusion inspired by many paintings by MC Esher.
