About this artwork
In this work, I explored the dynamics of shapes and colors to convey a sense of freedom and spontaneity. Using acrylic, I superimposed bold lines and geometric shapes that interact with each other, creating a space where emotion takes precedence over figuration. It reflects my passion for abstraction and my search for a vibrant harmony that will resonate in the space of any home, bringing energy and inspiration.

Marcel Baugier is a painter and sculptor based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, in Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. He describes his abstractions as not hiding anything and achieving beauty with little means. Baugier's artistic techniques are constantly evolving and he enjoys frequently switching mediums. His expression takes form through acrylics on canvas, silkscreen printing, enamels on lava stone, as well as enameled ceramics.
