A Cuban painter who resides in the United States, Marcelino Vizcaino’s landscapes have made their way across the globe, from his native country to the US and Europe. Although his career began with the realistic interpretation of landscapes, over the years he has incorporated elements of expressionism, surrealism and abstraction into his art. For Vizcaino, art must be filled with life, while also expressing the artist’s interior and exterior world, complimented with the expressiveness of color and the fragmentation of reality.
