About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the fragility and fragmentation of human existence. With bold acrylic strokes, I show how our identity dissolves and reassembles itself in colors and forms. Marcello Fischer works with watercolor on paper and, after studying design at the Zurich School of Design, gained extensive experience as a textile and porcelain designer. He uses exclusively indigo blue and creates dynamic, sometimes dissolved male body forms in his works that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. His technique is impressive due to flowing colors, strong contrasts, and emotional density, which lend his artworks intense depth and emotional tension.
