About this artwork
I wanted to capture the simple joy and liveliness of sweet, carefree moments. Using oil, I sought to convey the soft, glossy texture of the glazes, while the bright colors invite an almost tactile experience. Marco Bencic was born in Trieste in 1977. From a young age, his imagination and creativity sought to flourish, drawing and drawing. Constrained by social norms, instead of pursuing his great passion, he embarked on a completely different path, one that never diminished his fascination with art. He initially taught himself drawing, a skill that earned him recognition and recognition during his school years. The turning point came in 2021, when he finally managed to dedicate himself to oil painting, beginning to frequent the studio of Livio Možina, a realist and hyperrealist painter who has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Italy. Thus began his in-depth study of the process of creating a canvas, beginning with sketches and diagrams, moving on to mapping and drawing on the surface, continuing with the mixing of colors, and finishing with glazing.
