About this artwork
I created this work with a fusion of acrylic, embroidery and objects on cotton to explore the intersections between minimalism, pop art, abstraction and the metaphysical. It is an invitation to reflect on the depth hidden in simplicity, to seek the balance between full and empty, between visible and invisible. This work will vibrate in your space, bringing a stillness full of meanings and unspoken questions.

Marco Corridoni is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. His artistic practice focuses on "human investigation". Through this overarching theme, he explores concepts relating to freedom, conscience, and the dark sides of the soul. Yet, Corridoni also portrays the "incredible beauty that it contains". His figurative compositions combine hyper-realistic drawings with other materials such as wood, metal, plaster, etc.
