About this artwork
This artwork is an intense expression of my passion for nature and the transformative power of fire. Using oil, I created vibrant sunflowers that emerge from dark backgrounds, symbolizing resilience and rebirth from adversity. I sought to infuse each brushstroke with an energy that can inspire the viewer, bringing a spark of transformation and hope into their home.

Marco Ercoli is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, in France, and Switzerland. Through his observation of the reality that surrounds us, he questions truth, notions of time, the transience of the impermanence of being, as well as the absurdity and unpredictability of life. In addition, Ercoli conveys his love for diverse materials, and respect for traditions and the evolution of the medium. He primarily creates with oils on canvas.
