About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to explore the contrast between tangible reality and the mystery of the unknown, using simple figures immersed in suspended spaces. The dominant blue creates a calm and metaphysical tension, inviting the viewer to reflect on the meaning of looking and being present. It will bring an atmosphere of introspection and quiet wonder into your home.
Marco Lampis
Italy
« The reality that I live in is created by me. If I create beautiful works, I am happy. If I am happy, I create beautiful works. »
Marco Lampis’ paintings capture images from everyday reality, translating the relationships and loneliness of the people he observes, whom he both admires and detests, as an exercise in self-exploration. The Italian artist enjoys creating highly detailed and realistic aspects, mixing them with uncontrolled brush strokes, shading, and gradations of color. He creates using acrylics, oils, and watercolors on canvas.
