About this artwork
Figures, overwhelmed by the flow of existence, struggle, cross each other, chase the chimera of meaning, already defeated at the outset.
Together with them, elements of nature, bird feathers, dry leaves, flowers, shells, twigs floating in the wind of the accidental.
Humans are on the same level as natural phenomena, caught in the midst of an action that forces them into a spasm, or in the act of getting up after a fall, or even in attitudes that… seem to be a reaction to pain, physical or psychological.
The acentric and hierarchy-free space, painting and drawing alternating, finished and unfinished, and a certain compositional excitement are the traces of a "stream of consciousness" that finds expression in a corresponding pictorial conception.
