Two women float immersed in the water showing the physicality of the body without betraying the appearance of their faces: a beauty without individual connotations, a divine and mythical dimension reserved for goddesses, sirens, stereotypes of female idealization in the male imagination. The ambiguity of the subjects makes them appear like mirages. The context in which they appear is also ambiguous and essential.

Marco Ronga is an experienced painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally and in England.
