About this artwork
The lapping of the water against the boat lulls the memory and relaxes the spirit. It is the water of the lagoon that seems vitrified. The color ranges of greens have few tonal variations making the effects of the movement of the water also take on the appearance of an abstract composition. Acrylic colors are sometimes applied thick, dense, on the large deep edge canvas handcrafted by the painter.
