About this artwork
I was inspired by the beautiful island of Burano in the Venice lagoon. An island famous for its lace, but above all for the bright colors of its houses which are reflected in the calm waters of its canals. A large outdoor impressionist painting. The energy it brings is one of joy and deep contemplation, perfect for enlivening any domestic space. A crystal base that I covered with transparent and pastel colored glass powders. Then work with the spatula…
as for an oil painting to give the effect of light sea waves. Placed in the oven for a day to obtain a material fusion of the glass. Once the melting temperature of 790 degrees is reached, it cools very slowly for a cycle of approximately 20 hours. I found a frame with a light blue tint that fits very well with the colors of the painting. Signed by engraving on the front and certificate of authenticity attached.

My visions, the means to evoke the soul and spirit of matter
Marco Scaramuzza, a multifaceted artist and master glassmaker, merges his love for Murano glass with his training as a painter. In addition to painting, he uses the techniques of glass fusing, lampwork and graffiti, enriching many of his works with precious silver leaves which become the canvas for his paintings. Each work evokes the soul and spirit of the material, capturing the gaze with its brilliance and its infinite reflections.
