In my work, I have attempted to capture the vibrant essence of expressionism through the bold use of graffiti and printmaking techniques. This work is made on a plate of red glass and silver leaves scratched with a steel tip and painted with high temperature colors. My visions, the means to evoke the soul and spirit of matter
Marco Scaramuzza, a multifaceted artist and master glassmaker, merges his love for Murano glass with his training as a painter. In addition to painting, he uses the techniques of glass fusing, lampwork and graffiti, enriching many of his works with precious silver leaves which become the canvas for his paintings. Each work evokes the soul and spirit of the material, capturing the gaze with its brilliance and its infinite reflections.
