About this artwork
In my artwork I fuse realism with surrealism by transforming everyday objects into new, unexpected forms. Using acrylic and colored pencils, I create exciting scenarios that challenge viewers to think beyond what is visible. My depictions are figurative and symbolic, they awaken emotions and stimulate thought. The energy that this image radiates will be a lively and stimulating element in any room.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
