The UHU material is applied layer by layer to form. This process takes a long time to harden. The hand flatterers are an ongoing process that Spitzar drives forward on a daily basis. This creates air bubbles and a structure that cannot be foreseen. Letting the result play in the fingers is a special pleasure for the artist.

Marco Spitzar is an award-winning draftsman whose works have been featured in several solo exhibitions in Austria. He believes that we are born glued to the world, detached and heavy from imprints and stories to which we stick. Spitzar has used UHU adhesive in his the creation of his compositions for over forty-years, making new surface structures that also allow his imagery to remain transparent.
