About this artwork
In this work of mine, I wanted to capture a surreal atmosphere where nature and dreams meet. I used acrylic to give life to figures and elements that dance between the real and the imaginary, inviting the viewer to get lost in a world out of time. Each piece is a visual dialogue, an invitation to explore the boundaries of your imagination, bringing a touch of awe and wonder to every environment.

Marco Stocco, an Italian artist born in 1970, lives between Italy and Brazil. Self-taught and drawn to figurative art, he began his first paintings, often depicting enigmatic female forms and faces. Along his artistic journey, Marco moved to Brazil, where he currently resides. Initially, the pace and vibrant cultural diversity of Brazil shook him and almost disoriented him emotionally, but then, through observation, he perceived and grasped new, precious creative stimuli. Marco treasures all these stimulating inner experiences, which later lead him to express new sensations in his paintings. In 2009, he created "Orpheus," his "imaginary interior photojournalist," an enigmatic and contemplative character that represents himself, channeling these sensations into which he then materially expresses them on canvas.
