Burghart Schmidt was a contemporary German philosopher and my philosophy/theory professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna.
As my philosophical mentor and friend, he accompanied me and my work with his writings until his death. "Premonitions of Pure Being, A Remembrance" (2018) was his last text on my work. (Published in the catalogue: "Pure Being" by Marco Szedenik, Innsbruck 2018)
"Postmodern Strategies of Forgetting" is an important literary… reference to his work.
