About this artwork
A sculpture of overlapping timbers which was then prepared for a very hard A1 plaster final surface . This was then polished giving a slightly off white warm finish. The bottom support of the sculpture is an original wooden column base from an old, traditional home in Jodhpur, india.
The continual rotating composition represents Samsara, the eternal rebirth. White, in India, is linked to purity and wisdom and a detachment from worldly desires.
