About this artwork
This work is striking in its color intensity and structural tension. The space is constructed using a geometric grid, in which reds and burgundies spill out against a deep black background, creating the impression of an earth cracked by internal heat. A distinct, fiery line runs through the center of the canvas, reminiscent of a crack in the crust—as if a rift in space or energy emanating from beneath the surface.
This painting is about internal… tensions—ambiguous, powerful, yet subtly balanced. It can be read both as an emotional landscape and as a commentary on the fragility of structures—in nature and within us.

Margo Kirago is a contemporary Polish artist born in Warsaw, working primarily with palette knives, in oils and acrylics.
Her work straddles the boundaries of abstraction, expressive realism, and intuitive painting, building her own unique style based on emotion, element, and form. In her works, she develops distinctive means of expression: geometric backgrounds, balanced contrasts of color and texture, as well as rhythmic compositions bordering landscape and abstraction. Color is at the forefront, noticeable in all her paintings.
Her works are not just flat surfaces—they also offer a unique texture that you can feel while admiring the interplay of light and shadow. Exceptional structures are visible in the "Bird's Eye View" series of paintings, creating relief landscapes with a powerful sensory impact that compels the viewer to touch them.
