This drawing is one of the most colorful drawings I have ever done.
I had the opportunity to visit South America where I was able to go to an aviary full of exotic birds. Being up close to the birds was such a wonderful experience because I could really take my time to sit and truly examine their features close up. This Macaw in particular was so calm and beautiful that it even posed for me! This drawing is the perfect window to take you right into… Cartagena Colombia, while hanging in your home.
