About this artwork
It is a mystical landscape filled with symbolism. The phenomenon of a solar Eclipse has always been perceived mysteriously and symbolically. This is my perception. Inspired by the work of Georgia O'Keefe. The landscape is abstract and feminine. I can categorize this work as magical realism, minimalism, metaphysical painting.

Maria Drozdova's works are imbued with cultural codes and symbols. The Ukrainian painter has exhibited widely on a national level, as well as in Poland, Germany, and Italy. Drozdova does not align herself with a specific style, declaring that she is interested in 'art in general'. She often employs collage and combines photography, graphics, painting, and performance into her compositions.
