. We're traveling. The Wellt has come together and a shared feeling of belonging and togetherness is developing. The artist Maria Isabel Brandis, born in Spain, has lived in Germany since 1987. Europe has become a "big country". We have a lot in common
The charitable work with Syrian refugee girls, with whom the artist painted over two years, contributed… to the birth of the Encounters series.
In the series Eden 1 to 5, the artist was inspired by Gehart Richter and the computer-generated lines. She drew on the aluminum plate with acrylic and oil paint pens.

* 1965 Barcelona, Spain. Since 1987, she has been a freelance artist in Germany, working in oil, acrylic, and digital art. In 2006, she founded the studio "Maribel-Arts" for art education and promotion. In the same year, she became a member of the Association for Fine Arts Ostholstein (140 members). She has been elected chairwoman since 2022.
2020 to 2025 Art studies at the Academy of Painting Berlin. Awarded as a master student of Ute Wöllmann (master student of Georg Baselitz). Further awards:
*Awarded at the Art Box Zurich 12.08.2021 with the picture series "Rococo".
*Awarded at the Thomson Gallery Price 10.12.2021 with the series "Rococo"
*Awarded at the Palm Art Award 2022. Honorable Mention. For the series "Vintage"
Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad accompany her work as a painter for commissions from industry and business.
