About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the raw power and ephemeral beauty of lightning cutting through the sky. I used oil and sand to give it texture and depth, evoking the sense of roughness and the electrical tension of the exact moment of impact. The blue tones and golden flashes contrast, representing calm and turbulence. This piece invites us to reflect on the duality of nature: serene, yet unpredictably powerful.
