About this artwork
This is a wall sculpture constructed from copper sheeting which has been heated for natural shades to emerge The sheeting has been cut and manipulated into abstract images of leaves and flowers. I've constructed this piece with the intention of indicating a time of day when the animal might be seen alive in its natural environment, taking it away from the dead trophy idea. My choice of material could reflect the intimacy of a moment. It might…
