About this artwork
I exist - The cry here is not aggression, but a statement. It is an act of presence.
It's a right to be.
The moment of existential birth. When you realize that you don't have two lives, but one, and it's started now. And there is no draft that you will rewrite later, you are already writing in a clean draft and what you write depends only on you.
Painting is participating in the exhibition and will be available on May, 6 2026.
Maria Shtypuliak is a painter trained in Kyiv, Gdynia, and Gdańsk, whose practice is grounded in academic drawing and painting. She employs figurative techniques and symbolic imagery to explore themes of identity, vulnerability, and the often-invisible layers of consciousness. Through her meditative process, she creates profound spaces for reflection, inviting viewers to reconnect with themselves and experience the emotional resonance of self-discovery and transformation.
