About this artwork
This skull, abandoned somewhere in a puddle, is my bow towards the Baroque and the vanitas motif, but with a modern twist. The water, in shades of black and indigo, iridescent like synthetic material or black leather, and the skull stares back at us like a cold insignia of luxury. It's also a reference to Norse and Slavic mythologies, which have always inspired my work.
