With this still life, I wanted to convey the generosity and melancholy of autumn. On a handcrafted ceramic plate from Appignano, with a warm, earthy tone that reveals its Macerata origins, my homeland, three golden-yellow pomegranates are arranged with elegant simplicity. The taut, luminous skin of the fruits is interrupted by a border of maple leaves displaying the season's warmest colors: burnt greens and deep yellows, creating a vibrant, rippled…
