About this artwork
The work is a diptych composed of two small canvases (20x20) and depicts a typical landscape of the Marche region. In the foreground, you can see soft hills, wavy and gentle, with plowed fields of various colors: yellow, red, green. In some places, you can glimpse small groups of olive trees, which contribute to giving the landscape a Mediterranean look. In the background, the Sibillini mountains stand out against the pink sky with their snow-capped… peaks, even in summer. The light is warm and enveloping, and creates an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The work is an ode to the nature and beauty of the Marche region. It is an invitation to stop and enjoy the beauty of the world around us.
Maria Teresa Cristini is a painter, sculptor and digital artist who transforms everyday experiences into works of art. He uses oil and digital painting techniques, and explores three-dimensional painting with poor materials, creating dense and vibrant textures. His works, characterized by bright colors and intense light, reflect the tranquil beauties of his native land, the Marche, and convey sensations of peace and harmony. Maria considers art as the only tool of communication and introspection to represent her world.
