Aggregate state of matter. It burns but melts. Ice cold and hot at the same time. The choice of colors corresponds to this idea. What is hard water? This is ice. It can burn, life is frozen in it. There is no life in the ice, it languishes in its burning cold

Maria Zhivilo is an experienced artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Turkey. Through her works, she explores the relationship between humanity and the universe, as well as the laws of nature and the laws of humans. In addition, Zhivilo ponders the questions of "who are you, who am I, and who are we?". She primarily employs acrylics, oils, spray paint, ink, pigments, charcoal, and tempera on canvas, paper, or linen.
