Through her abstract compositions, Marian Davis's goal is not only to draw the viewer into her paintings but to create engaging works that are revisited "time and again". Originally, the American artist turned to painting as a way of releasing the stress of an intensive career in pediatric critical nursing. Beginning with decorative works, she has also explored botanical art and illustration. Davis' artistic journey has led her towards abstraction, and the art which she has always hoped to create.
