About this artwork
In crafting this piece, I delved deep into the serene whispers of the color blue, blending oils, wax, and pigments into a symphony of abstract elegance. It's an exploration of tranquility meeting the edges of our chaotic lives, a gentle breath on the canvas to bring a sense of calm and thoughtfulness into your space. This artwork is a haven for contemplation, an invitation to let your eyes wander and your heart find peace.

« Brush in hand and freedom of imagination...can't get better than that! »
Through her abstract compositions, Marian Davis's goal is not only to draw the viewer into her paintings but to create engaging works that are revisited "time and again". Originally, the American artist turned to painting as a way of releasing the stress of an intensive career in pediatric critical nursing. Beginning with decorative works, she has also explored botanical art and illustration. Davis' artistic journey has led her towards abstraction, and the art which she has always hoped to create.
