The artwork is signed and dated on the back.

Marianne Gabriel is an experienced artist based in Greece whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Italy, France, and England. She describes the themes in her works as emerging from the world we live in, translated into formal energy. In her artistic practice, Gabriel does not aim for total abstraction, but rather, a kind of subtraction whereby repeated removals lead to a re-creation or a rediscovery of reality.
