« Painting a picture is like catching a sparrow, you have to do it without risking killing it. -adapted quote from Tom Waits »
Mariano Chelo is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Kuwait, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, the United States, and France. He compares his art to the pages of a novel, as one piece is often the continuation of another.
Throughout his artistic career, he has explored themes relating to mythology, improbable machines, time machines, horizons, and Pinnochio. Currently, his compositions explore the hypotheses of Genesis and the sea.
