About this artwork
Evasion is a painting produced by the artist during the first historic moment of confinement in March 2020. The artist lived this period of confinement in a family cocoon recomposed on this occasion and this softness is symbolized by the choice of more pastel colors than in some of his other paintings. Évasion was selected by various exhibitions: Salon d'Automne de Paris 2020, Salon des Beaux-Arts de Boulogne 2020, Salon des Artistes Français 2021 (Grand Palais, Art en Capital). But it will ultimately only be exhibited in Boulogne in November 2021, the other exhibitions having been canceled.
The three D edges are painted in the continuity of the canvas, the small relief points specific to the artist are present.
