About this artwork
Light green iris enlarged to a gigantic size.
A watercolor from a series of flowers - in some pictures the flower has almost disappeared, dissolved in color. The flower consists only of colored areas, which can no longer be identified exactly where the leaf, the ovary, the stems etc. are located. The attraction of the blossom develops in the huge magnification like a zoom lens.
